Hunting Power in a Sedona Vortex

This video was made in one of the powerful vortexes in the beautiful high desert of Sedona, Arizona. Typically, wind blows in the high desert, and this is picked up on the microphone. However, most of the dialog is audible.

Ancient Toltecs realized that in order to have a happy, fulfilling and successful life, one needs personal power. For those on a spiritual path, personal power is essential. Without personal power, both a spiritual path and life become very challenging.

When you are empowered, you have dominion over self and your world. Dominion is different than domination. Domination is detrimental to the earth and others around you. Dominion is a positive outcome of having true personal empowerment.

A person with personal power is able to help, not only themselves, but others as well. By being an empowered person, your ability to create the life you desire becomes possible. Even things like financial abundance require personal power.

A Toltec spends time hunting power. What does it mean to hunt power? Hunting power means that you look at life for opportunities to increase your personal power. Working through life challenges with intent, maturity and the attitude of growing from the challenge is the formula for hunting power in the world.

Often, people on a spiritual path will attempt to empower themselves self-to-self. That is they want to walk the path alone and are resistant to going out into the world to find power. They may try to meditate or think their way to power. This doesn’t work. Meditation is a powerful tool for finding energy and aligning to it, however, it is not the proper tool to find power.

One could say that the purpose of life for the spiritual warrior is to use it to empower themselves.
